How to get to the Asian Game Competition Venues


The easiest way from the Incheon Airport


The 17th Asian Game is held from September 19th to October 4th in Incheon.
Hoping it to be the successful event, I introduce how to get to the competition venues easily.

1. Incheon Asiad Main Stadium, Yeonhui Cricket Ground

1. Take an Airport Subway(Arex) and get off at the Gumam(검암) Station, and take the exit No. 1.
2. Take a bus No. 17-1, 42, 42-1, 70, 77, 700 or 903, or take the shuttle bus.

(Takes about 1 hour, Costs 2,450 Won)

2. Munhak Park Tae-hwan Aquatics Center, Munhak Baseball Stadium, Munhak Stadium

1. Take an Airport Subway(Arex)
2. Transfer to Incheon Metro Line 1 from Gyeyang(계양) Station.
3. Get off at the Munhak Station and take the exit No. 2.
4. Walk about 400 m.

(Takes about 1 hour and a half, Costs 3,750 Won)
3. Dream Park

 1. Take an Airport Subway(Arex) and get off at the Gyeyang(계양) Station, and take the exit No. 1.
2. Take a bus No. 30 and get off at Metropolitan Landfill Management Corporation(수도권매립지관리공사).


(Takes about 1 hour and a half, Costs 3,300 Won)





4. Gyeyang Asiad Archery Field, Gyeyang Gymnasium, Incheon International Velodrome

1. Take an Airport Subway(Arex)
2. Transfer to Incheon Metro Line 1 from Gyeyang(계양) Station. and get off at Imhak(임학) Station.
3. Take the exit No.1 of Imhak station and take a bus No. 582 and get off at Daedong(대동) Apartment. (Or take a taxi.)
4. Wake about 500 m.

(Takes about 1 hour and 10 min, Costs 3,550 Won)




5. Mokdong Baseball Stadium

1. Take an Airport Subway(Arex).
2. Transfer to Line 5 at the Gimpo airport Station and get off at Ohmokgyo(오목교) Station.
3. Take the exit No.4 of Ohmokgyo Station and walk about 1.4 Km.

(Takes about 1 hour, Costs 3,750 Won)




6. Songdo LNG Baseball Stadium

1. Take an Airport Subway(Arex)
2. Transfer to Incheon Metro Line 1 from Gyeyang(계양) Station. and get off at Techno park(테크노파크) Station.
4. Take the exit No. 3 and take a bus No. 513 and get off at the Songdo Sports Center. (Or take a taxi.)

(Takes about 2 hours, Costs 2,800 Won)


7. Samsan World Gymnasium

 1. Take an Airport Subway(Arex)
2. Transfer to Incheon Metro Line 1 from Gyeyang(계양) Station.
3. Transfer to Line 7 at the Bupyeong Office Station and get off at Samsan gymnasium(삼산체육관) Station.
4. Take the exit No.3 and walk about 500 m.

(Takes about 1 hour and 20 mins, Costs 3,650 Won)



8. Hwaseong Sprots Complex

1. Take a bus No. 8822 on the 1st floor of the Incheon airport.

2. Get off at Hwaseong Culture Center(화성문화원) or Hyangnam office(향남읍사무소) and walk about 1 Km.

(Takes about 2 hours, Costs 11,100 Won)





9. Anyang Hogye Gymnasium

1. Take a bus No. 4200 at the 7B gate on the 1st floor of the Incheon airport.
2. Get off at Anyang bus terminal and take a taxi.

(Takes about 2 hours, Costs 20,000 Won)




10. Seonhak Gymnasium

1. Take an Airport Subway(Arex) and transfer to Incheon Metro Line 1 from Gyeyang(계양) Station.
2. Get off at the Seonhak(선학) Station.

(Takes about 1 hour and a half, Costs 3,750 Won)




11. Hanam Misari Rowing Center

1. Take an Airport Subway(Arex) 공덕역에서 5호선으로 갈아탄다.
2. 강동역에서 내린 후, 4번 출구로 나온 후, 1-4번 버스에 탄다.
3. 미사동입구에서 내린다.
4. 경기장까지 약 1.4Km를 걷는다.

(Takes about 1 hour, Costs 4,700 Won)




12. Yeongjong Baegunsan MTB Course

1. Take an Airport Subway(Arex) and get off at the Unseo(운서) Station. 

(Takes about 15 mins, Costs 900 Won)




13. Ganghwa Asiad BMX Track

1. Take a bus No. 302 at the 9B gate on the 1st floor of the Incheon airport.
2. Get off at Gongcheon intersection(공촌사거리) and take another bus No. 90 and get off at Ganghwa bus Station.
3. Take a bus No. 22 and get off at the Entrance of Hadori(하도리입구).
4. Walk about 500 m.

(Takes about 4 hours, Costs 3,100 Won)




14. Goyang Gymnasium

1. Take a bus No. 7400 on the 1st floor of the Incheon airport.
2. Get off at KINTEX and walk about 700 m.

(Takes about 1 hour and a half, Costs 11,000 Won)




15. Incheon Football Stadium, Dowon Gymnasium

1. Take an Airport Subway(Arex) and transfer to Incheon Metro Line 1 from Gyeyang(계양) Station.
2. Transfer to Seoul Metro Line 1 at the Bupyeong(부평) Station and get off at Dowon(도원) Station.

(Takes about 1 hour and a half, Costs 3,950 Won)




16. Ansan Wa Stadium

1. Take a bus No. 7000 on the 1st floor of the Incheon airport and get off at Ansan Station.
2. Take a bus No. 52 at Ansan Station and get off at the Ansan Art Center(안산문화술의전당).  (Or take a taxi.)

(Takes about 1 hour and a half, Costs 12,000 Won)




17. Goyang Stadium

1. Take an Airport Subway(Arex) and transfer to Gyeongui Line(경의선) from Digital media city Station.
2. Transfer to Line 2 from Daegok Station (대곡역) and get off at Daehwa Station(대화역).

(Takes about 1 hour and 40 mins, Costs 4,150 Won)




18. Namdong Gymnasium, Namdong Asiad Rugby Field 

1. Take an Airport Subway(Arex) and transfer to Incheon Metro Line 1 from Gyeyang(계양) Station.
2. Get of at Incheon city hall Station(인천시청역) and take the exit No. 4 and take a bus No 33 and get off at Namdong Gymnasium(남동체육관). (Or take a taxi.)

(Takes about 1 hour and 50 mins, Costs 4,000 Won)





19. Suwon Gymnasium 

1. Take a bus No. 4000 at the 7A gate on the 1st floor of the Incheon airport.

2. Get off at Gyeonggi Newspaper or Hanil-town and take a taxi.

(Takes about 1 hour 40 mins, Costs 15,000 Won)



20. Chungju Tangeum Lake International Rowing Center

1. Take an Airport Subway(Arex) and transfer to Incheon Metro Line 1 from Gyeyang(계양) Station.
2. Get off at Incheon terminal Station(인천터미널역) and take a bus going to Chungju (충주)from Incheon bus terminal.
3. Take a bus No. 411 and get off at Jungangtap(중앙탑). (Or take a taxi.)

(Takes about 5 hours, Costs ? Won)



21. Wangsan Sailing Marina

 1. Take a bus No. 302, 202, or 306 on the 1st floor of the Incheon airport and get off at Wangsan Beach.

(Takes about 1 hour, Costs 2,500 Won)



22. Bucheon Gymnasium

1. Take an Airport Subway(Arex).
2. Transfer to Incheon Metro Line 1 from Gyeyang(계양) Station.
3. Transfer to Line 7 at the Bupyeong Office Station and get off at Bucheon cityhall Station(부천시청역).
4. Take a taxi from exit No. 4.

(Takes about 1 hour and 20 mins, Costs 6,000 Won)





23. Ongnyeon International Shooting Range

1. Take an Airport Subway(Arex)

2. Transfer to Incheon Metro Line 1 from Gyeyang(계양) Station.
3. Transfer to Suin Line from Woninjae Station(원인제역) and get off at Songdo Station(송도역).
4. Take the exit No 1. and walk about 1 Km.

(Takes about 1 hour and 50 mins, Costs 3,850 Won)


24. Gyeonggido Shooting Range

1. Take a bus No. 8822 on the 1st floor of the Incheon airport.
2. Get off at Balan intersection(발안삼거리) or Bada Mart(바다마트) and take another bus No. 22 from Exchang Bank(외환은행). (Or take a taxi to Shooting Range.)
3. Get off at Sachang Intersection(사창 4거리) and walk about 1.5 Km.

(Takes about 2 hours, Costs 13,000 Won)



25. Yeorumul Squash Courts, Yeorumul Tennis Courts

1. Take an Airport Subway(Arex) and get off at Gumam(검암) Station.
2. Take the exit No. 1 and take a bus No. 903 and get off at Slaughterhouse(도축장).(Or take a taxi.)
3. Walk about 500 m.

(Takes about 1 hour and 20 mins, Costs 2,650 Won)



26. Songdo Central Park Triathlon Venue

1. Take an Airport Subway(Arex)  and transfer to Incheon Metro Line 1 from Gyeyang(계양) Station.

2. Get off at Incheon University Station(인천대입구역).
3. Walk about 500 m.

(Takes about 1 hour and a half, Costs 4,050 Won)



27. Songnim Gymnasium

1. Take an Airport Subway(Arex) and get off at Cheongna International City Station(청라국제도시역).
2. Take the exit No. 1 and take a but No. 307 and get off at Hyundai Steel. (Or take a taxi.)
3. Walk about 600 m.

(Takes about 1 hour, Costs 4,800 Won)





28. Ansan Sangroksu Gymnasium

1. Take an Airport Subway(Arex) and transfer to Incheon Metro Line 1 from Gyeyang(계양) Station.

2. Transfer to Suin Line(수인선) from Woninjae(원인재) Station and transfer again to line 4 from Ohyido(오이도) Station.
3. Get off at Sangnoksu(상록수) Station and take the exit No.1.

(Takes about 2 hours, Costs 4,250 Won)






29. Songdo Global University Beach Volleyball Venue, Songdo Global University Gymnasium

1. Take an Airport Subway(Arex)  and transfer to Incheon Metro Line 1 from Gyeyang(계양) Station.
2. Get off at Techno park Station and take the exit No.2 and walk about 1.5 km.

(Takes about 1 hour and 40 mins, Costs 4,050 Won)


30. Moonlight Festival Garden Weightlifting Venue

1. Take a bus No. 303 at the 9A gate on the 1st floor of the Incheon airport.
2. Get off at The Paru(더프라우) and take a taxi.

(Takes about 1 hour 20 mins, Costs 6,000 Won)



Jay's Tips!

"When you ask in English, ask young Koreans for direction!!"


Tip 1. Lots of young Koreans speak English but older people can't speak English.

Tip 2. The fare of taxi in Korea is not that expensive compared to other countries. So I recommend you to take a taxi from near subway station to get to your destination.

Tip 3. You can hear English, Chinese, Japanese announcement in subway and English in bus.

Tip 4. If you have language problem, call Touristic Information Center (Tel. 1330) or BBB(Tel.1588-5644), which is a free interpretation service.
