Touristic Information around Incheon Asian Game Competition Venues
Shopping, Restaurant, Attraction, etc
Incheon Asian Games will be held from September 19th to October 4th.
Hoping it to be the greatest event ever, I introduce useful touristic information around competition venues.

There is one of the biggest downtown, Guwol-dong, in Incheon near Munhak and Seonhak.
In Guwol-dong, there are large department stores and malls like Shinsegae(신세계), Lotte(롯데), E-mart, Homeplus.
And on the Rodeo Street, there are many restaurants, pubs and street shops.

Songdo International City is the new town in Incheon.
There are the best shopping malls like NC cube and Square 1, and you can also visit the Central park and enjoy the water taxi.

There is no close attraction near this area.
So I recommend you to take a subway to get to Bupyeong Station or Bucheon Station to enjoy shopping or have a meal.
Bupyeong is one of the biggest downtown in Incheon where you can enjoy street shopping or underground malls ,or have a meal.
If you want to visit interesting place, you'd better visit Ains Wolrd where you can see the miniature of famous buildings in all around world.

This area is a little away from downtown in Incheon, so that there is no attractions.
But if you take a airport subway, you can get to Hongdae (Hongik University), the most popular area among Korean young people, within 30 min.
At Hongdae, you can enjoy so many things like shopping, meal, drinking, club, street performance and so on.

Other than competition areas, there are so many good attractions in Incheon.
The most popular tour route is 'China town-Wolmido' course where you can enjoy the history and the ocean.
If you have time more than 2 days, you can also visit beautiful islands in Incheon like Ganghwa Island, Baengnyeong Island, Muuido and so on.
