Where you can see the ocean, enjoy an amusement park and sea foods

Wolmido is the best tourist attraction in Incheon to visit. It used to be a real island in the past but now, it's connected to the main land and it has been developed as a leisure place. So there are many restaurants, cafes and also two amusement park.

And most of all, this place is loved as the closest place where you can see the ocean from Seoul or Incheon.

Therefore, many people visit this place with their family, kids or with their lovers.

Sunday, it was a little cool at night. Walking around Wolmido, I took Giant Ferris Wheel located in Wolmi Theme Park.

It didn't exist the last time I had visited Wolmido with my parents when I was young.

I heard that it was newly built October, 2009.

It's been a long time since I visited here.

After having dinner, I took some photos of night view of Wolmido.

Beautiful illuminations are set around wheel.

(You can't bring any food!!)

You can open the windows. And it takes about 10 minutes to finish the journey.

It might seem not that scary, but if you look down with your own eyes, it's pretty scary.

By bus: Take a bus Number 2, 23, 45 or 720 from Incheon station, Seoul metro Line 1.

By taxi: It takes about less than 10 min from Incheon station. (about 4000 won)

Wolmido is the best tourist attractions in Incheon. It's good for a date and good for spending time with your family.

Tip 1. It's very close to the China town. It takes less than 10 min by taxi, but you can't get there on foot. You can use taxi or bus in front of Incheon subway station. The bus comes very often, so don't try to walk!

Tip 2. Seafood restaurants in Wolmido are a little bit expensive. But you can see the ocean while eating.

Tip 3. Some people are disappointed at the ocean, because it's not that beautiful.

I agree to those people, because the west sea in Korea is not that fabulous compared to the Mediterranean Sea or Hawaii.

But Wolmido is the nearest place where you can see the ocean from Seoul or Incheon.
