Unique and delicious Korean dessert cafe


Korean people love to eat Shaved ice call Bingsu(빙수) in the Summer.
You can eat Bingsu at many cafes, bakeries and shops on the street.
But the Bingsu I want to introduce today is quite special.
'Sulbing' is a newly opened Korean dessert cafe that is very popular especially with women. It's a franchise cafe, so you can find this easily in Korea.
Their specialty is the Injulmi(Korean rice cake) shaved ice which has rice cake and soybean powder.
Never forget to try this special shaved ice(Bingsu) this Summer in Korea!

Last Monday,
I went to Sulbing(meaning snow) with my friends.
Lately, this place was pretty popular.

There are two in Bupyeong
and I visited the 1st branch next to the Starbucks!

The interior was good,
and there were many tables but not for 4 of us.....

Tables for 4 people were all taken...

So, we had to pull the chair close so that we could sit together!

It was so crowded.
I heard that the 2nd branch was more crowded that people had to wait in line.

I ordered Injulmi(Ricecake) shaved ice and Strawberry shaved ice~
And I ordered extra red bean!






a vibrating bell...it didn't ring...
We almost waited for 10 minutes..

which means that there were so many people!!!!






Wow!
Look at this!
It was worth waiting!













Strawberry shaved ice!
There were big ricecakes and lots of real strawberries,
and red bean inside ice!

 I didn't think that they didn't have to put redbean in it...
Strawberry is sweet and Red bean is also sweet, so it was too sweet..









Injulmi shaved ice!
This didn't have redbean, so I ordered it and added in this.
This one was tasty~ :D

I think I could have moved the red bean in Strawberry ice into Injulmi ice. ^^




This is soybean powder.
It was blown a lot when I ate. lol





a beautiful cup for syrup + the empty bowls. :D
The ice was melting so softly :D Ice particles were so tiny :D

This shop is open 24 hours. So next time, I will visit there when it's not crowded.

This is their another popular specialty named 'Injulmi toast'
The rice cake inside the toast is melted like cheese.
So delicious!!
