Hot spicy stir-fired chicken is a very unique food you can't eat in other cities, but only in Incheon. It was originated in Juan, and it's now franchised, so there are three PokaPoka chains in Incheon, Juan, Guwol-dong, and Bupyeong.

And if you want not just hot spicy but delicious,
Go to Pokapoka(뽀까뽀까) located in Juan, Incheon.
Once you take a seat, these are served.
I like eating cucumber and carrot with Ssamjang(Korean traditional sauce).
And that Mul-Kimchi covered with ice is going to relieve your hot mouth.

This restaurant is probably the most popular restaurant in Juan, Incheon.
I've been visiting this restaurant for about 5 to 6 year.
You can't eat this kind of food in other cities.
My friends who came from other cities really didn't know about this.
And not every people in Incheon knows about this, either.
But once they taste this, they get to love this. lol
You can choose among 3 spicy levels.
If you've never tried this, I recommend you to try the middle level.
But I think the level of spiciness is not always the same.
The one covered with cheese is also popular.
The cheese relieves the spiciness of the food and you can taste the Mozzarella as well.
I don't suggest you eat this when you have your first date.
(Your nose might be runny because it's very hot. lol)
If your date partner likes hot spicy food, then you can eat this together later.
Can you see the cheese stretching? It's like pizza.
People who love cheese would love this.
I always order noodle topping.
This noodle is a great match with this food. Without this, I feel like it's not perfect.
This is the menu.
I usually order the Original stir-fried chicken(원조볶음닭) and Cheese stir-fried chicken(치즈볶음닭).
Original stir-fried chicken(원조볶음닭) is 23,000 won.
Cheese stir-fried chicken(치즈볶음닭) is 28,000 won.
It's the amount of one chicken, so it might be a little too much for two people to eat.
I think it's good enough for 3-4 people to eat together.
And I strongly suggest that you eat Stir-fried rice(볶음밥) when you almost eat up.
It's really delicious.
I regret that I didn't order Stir-fried rice(볶음밥) because I felt I was full. lol

There is a parking lot, but it's very small.
So I recommend you to go there by public transportation.

"If you like hot spicy food!"
Tip 1. The original restaurant in Juan doesn't have chairs. So it could be uncomfortable for foreigners who are not used to it.
So I recommend you to visit the Guwol-dong branch or Bupyeong branch, where you can sit on a chair.
Tip 2. It could be too hot for people who are not used to hot Korean foods.
Tip 3. If you really like hot spicy food, don't order the one with cheese. The original stir-fried chicken is much hotter.
Tip 4. Among 3 PokaPoka chains, the one in Guwol-dong has the brightest atmosphere.
On the other hand, the other 2 branches have traditional atmosphere.
