Where you can eat various traditional Korean foods

Sinpo International Market is the traditional market where you can enjoy various Korean traditional foods. The most famous one is called Dakgangjeong, which is fried chicken with sweet and spicy sauce. And besides that, you can enjoy many delicious foods at a very love price.

Sinpo market is close from Doingincheon subway station, and it's connected to Chinatown, which is 20 minutes away on foot.

If you look for traditional and exotic foods, I recommend you to visit Sinpo maket.

Incheon Dakgangjeong(Fried chicken), Sinpo Dumping, Jeon, Handmade Oden Hatba~

I went on a trip to Incheon last weekend.

Hahahahah~~

It was so excting

I really wanted to eat Dakgangjeong(닭강정) which is very popular in Sinpo International Market!

It was so popular as I thought.

It was 12 O'clock, but there were so many people waiting in a line.

Besides, it was Sunday~~

I never thought that there would be so many people who wanted to eat chicken on a Sunday afternoon.

This shop is the best one.

The woman was making it in a very huge bowl.

The price is 16,000 won for a big size and 11,000 won for a middle size.

Big size one is enough for 4 people to eat together.

We were 3 people, but we ordered a big size one.

Because we eat a lot!

We are chicken killers!! lol

This chicken is spicy and sweet.

And they serve a lot.

It's also crispy.

This is really great~

After eating Dakgangjeon, we moved to Sinpo Dumping.

Dumping~~~

Dumping and Steamed Bun.

They were so colorful.

It makes me hungry~~

I wanted to eat this but I was so full

and we had a lot to eat there~~

Yellow, red, green, white Steamed Buns~~

So beautiful.

But I hate red bean inside this.

I like Dumping~

This is Jeon(Korean traditional pizza).

Looks delicious...

Everything looked delicious!!!

And These are another popular food in Sinpo market called Oden(오뎅).

They are fried there and many people bought them.

The size of this food was so big.

I wish I lived there...

It was so delicious and cheap...

It was so big but was just 1500 won to 2000 won depending on the taste.

How to get there

By Subway: Get off at Dongincheon station ,Seoul metro line 1, and walk about 10 minutes through underground mall that is connected to the station. You can see the English sign in the underground mall.

From China town: It takes about 20 min on foot from Chinatown to Sinpo market.

Or you can take buses, number 28, 15, 23, 45, in front of the China town.
