Good tourist attraction in Incheon

Where you can see the ocean, enjoy an amusement park and sea foods


Wolmido is the best tourist attraction in Incheon to visit. It used to be a real island in the past but now, it's connected to the main land and it has been developed as a leisure place. So there are many restaurants, cafes and also two amusement park.
And most of all, this place is loved as the closest place where you can see the ocean from Seoul or Incheon.
Therefore, many people visit this place with their family, kids or with their lovers.

Wolmi Amusement Park, a good tourist attraction to visit in Incheon~*





I visited ☆Wolmido☆ where I can see the ocean and enjoy the amusement part~



I visited there on weekend, so there were many people and the weather was nice~


You can enjoy lots of street foods in Wolmido~

I usually don't like them but when I go there, I get to want to eat them ^3^



There are many things to look around. And this is a toy shop for kids~



This is a melted sugar candy called Popkki~!! It looked so cute.

When I was a kid, I used to make this at home, burning about 10 scoops ㅠㅠ



Street foods~

One of the most popular street foods there is Yakitori (닭꼬치 in Korean), which smelled so good...



The most popular rides in Wolmi Amusement Park are the Disco pang pang and Viking.



It's very famous since it goes up so high ㅠㅠ

When I had ridden on that, I had almost fainted...
If you like this kind of scary riding, why don't you try it? >3<

It's as famous as Roasted shellfish in Wolmido~!!



The DJ of Disco pangpang is very funny, so many people were there to watch it.



When you ride on this, you might become a monkey in a zoo.
You might be embarrassed...Think twice before you decide to get on this.
When I was a high school student, I almost fell and rolled there..and my friends were enjoying it.



The ticket office. The fare is

Adults: 4,500 won,  Kids: 3,500 won

But if you choose 3 rides, it's 12,000 for adults, and 4 rides for Kids. (discounted)



There are many rides besides Viking and Disco pangpang~



a fun game for kids.

You have to put the fog on the moving leaves. You shouldn't drop the frog into the water.




The baseball bating game.

I can't do this because I'm scared of the fast ball coming toward me. ㅠㅠ



Wolmi culture street

These electric toy cars are popular these days for kids.

You can rent this there.



You can meet many painters who draw a picture of you.

And there is also a fortune teller. Once, he had told me that my boyfriend and I would be forever together but it was a lie. (liar...-3-)



You can also board on a cruise at the dock!!

I think you'd better board on that at night to enjoy the beautiful sight~




Many people were enjoying the ocean on a sunny day~

Why don't you take a walk on Wolmi street, eating something? It feels so good!!

There are many restaurants and cafes. This is a franchise cafe, Angel in us~ ^3^

Breakwater area is good for drinking beer or enjoying fireworks~

sometimes, you can enjoy the concert for elderly~



This is the newly opened amusement park, named Wolmi theme park, at the other side from the Wolmi amusement park. It opened a few years ago.



Bumper car for kids!! This place was also crowded.



This place had many fun rids for kids~



There were some arcade game machines~




Fast food store, Lotteria. It was so crowded




Watching people wait in a line reminded me of my childhood.



This is not a huge amusement park like Lotte World or Ever land,
but I could enjoy some rides, see the ocean, and eat sea foods~
I had a wonderful day in Wolimo!! >3<
It's also beautiful at night.


There are many tourist attractions near Wolmido,
So never miss the chance to enjoy Incheon city~

Addess: 인천광역시 중구 북성동 1가

By bus: Take a bus Number 2, 23, 45 or 720 from Incheon station, Seoul metro Line 1.

By taxi: It takes about less than 10 min from Incheon station. (about 4000 won)

Wolmido is the best tourist attractions in Incheon. It's good for a date and good for spending time with your family.

Tip 1. It's very close to the China town. It takes less than 10 min by taxi, but you can't get there on foot. You can use taxi or bus in front of Incheon subway station. The bus comes very often, so don't try to walk!

Tip 2. Seafood restaurants in Wolmido are a little bit expensive. But you can see the ocean while eating.

Tip 3. Some people are disappointed at the ocean, because it's not that beautiful.
I agree to those people, because the west sea in Korea is not that fabulous compared to the Mediterranean Sea or Hawaii.
But Wolmido is the nearest place where you can see the ocean from Seoul or Incheon.

 Tip 4. What is Disco pangpang?




Jay's Recommended route

1. Incheon station : China town is right across the street
2. China town: You can enjoy many things. (2 hours) 
3. Fairy tale village : It's next to China town (5 min on foot)
4. Wolmido : You may spend much time there. (4 hours)
5. Incheon station : It's 10 min from Wolmido by bus or taxi
